1502 Cigars is a brand of the Global Premium Cigars (GPC) company. Founded by Enrique Sanchez Icaza, the company is based in Nicaragua and focuses primarily on premium cigars with Nicaraguan blends. The name 1502 comes from the year Christopher Columbus discovered Nicaragua. 1502 Ruby is one of the three lines of 1502, the blend is a combination of carefully selected and aged tobacco leaves: Ecuadorian wrapper Sumatra and filler tobaccos from Esteli and Jalapa. Cigars with a magnificent appearance and a box-press shape, revealing the mastery of hand-crafting. Medium in strength, with flavors of nuts, white pepper, nougat, complemented by woody and earthy notes.
